In addition to the unveiling of new products and the showcasing of the latest technologies and innovations, visitors to Electra Mining Africa have also had the opportunity to see hundreds of live demonstrations and speak with technical experts at the stands of over 850 exhibitors.

Running until 14 September at the Expo Centre in Johannesburg, Electra Mining Africa showcases a broad range of products, services and technologies across mining, manufacturing, electrical and power.

“Over 850 local and international exhibitors will be showcasing their latest innovations at this year’s Electra Mining Africa,” says Gary Corin, Managing Director of Specialised Exhibitions Montgomery, organisers of the show. “Live demonstrations will be playing a key role as visitors will be able to see equipment and machinery in action whilst interacting with technical experts on the stands. It’s a highly informative environment and enhanced even further with the addition of the co-located industry conferences and the free-to-attend daily seminars. Many of our exhibitors will also have knowledgesharing presentations on their stands.” 

Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology launched its new surface mining equipment and related rocktools at Electra Mining Africa on Monday, 10 September, while on Tuesday Grundfos unveiled its new generation of inline multistage pumps

Also on display is BEKA Schréder’s range of industrial lighting products which are used in Africa’s harshest environments where energy efficiency, reliability and low maintenance costs are called for. The company are showcasing exciting new industrial LED lighting products at this year’s show.
