Zonke Engineering, South Africa’s designer and supplier of process equipment and local representative of some of the world’s key players in process and mechanical equipment, has added a new range of pumps to its existing product offering.
The new addition to the Zonke products family is housed under the new fluid transfer division and boast, among others, Abel’s positive displacement pumps; Börger’s rotary lobe pumps; Kamat’s plunger pumps and Lewa’s high pressure dosing pumps.
Commenting on the company’s new editions, Brandon Loots, MD of Zonke Engineering, says the company is excited about the newly launched fluid transfer division, which is bringing the world’s best in pumps technologies to the South African market.
“Abel’s positive displacement pumps, for instance are designed to suit varying flow rates and pump pressures. Depending on the design, Abel’s pumps are also suitable for abrasive, aggressive and even shear-sensitive media,” says Loots, adding that every Abel pump can be adapted to meet the individual requirements of the application.
Loots says that another exciting new addition to the Zonke Engineering product offering is the Börger rotary lobe pumps range, which boasts self-priming and valve less pumps.
Kamat’s plunger pumps also feature prominently on Zonke Engineering’s new products range. “Kamat has been a leading international system supplier of high pressure technology for more than 40 years and their powerful, versatile high pressure pumps can be found in almost all industrial fields, including mining, industrial cleaning and water jet cutting,” explains Loots.
The newly expanded fluid transfer division has further established repair capabilities in Secunda and Durban and now offers the full service of replacement, spares and repairs to rotating equipment.
Commenting on opportunities outside South African boarders, Loots says that opportunities abound in Africa and Zonke Engineering is increasing its footprint into other African countries.
