The F2500W and F2500WS wheeled pavers from Dynapac are now available for the local market. The range is defined by quality, reliability and simplicity, key ingredients for a successful recipe that delivers great paving results.

New wheeled paver range from Dynapac“The F2500 wheeled range comes with precise power and smart design to provide an optimum paving solution and years of excellent service even when operating in some of Africa’s harshest and most demanding conditions,” says Neville Marthinussen, business line manager for Dynapac South Africa. “Combine this with conventional electric control, a high torque auger, high paving capacity, Dynapac vario screed, an efficient drive concept, operator comfort and hassle-free service, and you have the perfect paving partner.”

The F2500W/WS range is powered by a Cummins QSB6.7 water-cooled diesel engine that drives an efficient hydraulic system. This power pack is said to offer high torque and improved fuel efficiency which, alongside an increased fuel tank capacity, ensures long intervals before refuelling is required, leading to increased uptime and productivity.

The range’s rear wheel drive delivers increased power. With its additional two front wheel drives, the F2500WS can pave up to 6,6 m. The wide, low profile tyres ensure good traction and ground contact in both work and drive modes. Furthermore, the asymmetric suspended axle permits ground contact for the front tyres on tough terrain and also assists with improving the machine’s overall driving capability. A low centre of gravity ensures good balance and optimum stability. Marthinussen adds that the hydrostatic drive system offers a smooth driving experience with good speed ramp up.

“Everything about these pavers is straightforward – from easy transportation and safe operation to hassle-free service and maintenance,” notes Marthinussen. The compact machines boast an inner turning radius of 2,4 m, which facilitates operation and manoeuvrability on city roads and in confined areas.

Loading, unloading and transporting the F2500W and F2500WS is simple thanks to the 17 degree ramp angle combined with manually operated locking cylinders for the levelling arms and large easily accessible transport lugs. In addition, the mechanical screed arm lock and mechanical lock for the hopper cylinder also make it easy to transport the paver quickly.
