The Energy Training Foundation (EnTF) has been training and certifying Energy Professionals to internationally recognised qualifications since 2002.

Up your renewable knowledge with EnTFEnTF is the sole approved training partner for the Southern African region for the US-based Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) – the available programs in the region are: Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), Certified Renewable Energy Professional (REP) and Certified Water Efficiency Professional (CWEP). EnTF is EWSETA accredited, and runs locally developed training in energy efficiency and renewable energy with all courses carrying CPD credits.

23 - 27 October 2017, Kopanong Conference Centre and Hotel, Johannesburg

Five days of training, 4 CPD ECSA credits, 7.2 AEE renewal credits, Certificate of Completion from Nelson Mandela University on this Short Learning Program.

Professor Freddie Vorster from the Nelson Mandela University will be conducting the five day Short Learning Program which ends off with a 90 minute examination with a possibility to earn a Certificate of Completion for a 50% pass mark, or a Certificate of Completion Cum Laude for a 75% and higher pass mark, or for those under 50% a Certificate of Attendance.

The course covers the latest in PV technologies, software and PV modelling, risks, projections, manufacturing, financing, bankability, failures, case studies and practical activities and a whole lot more.

20 - 23 November 2017, with the examination on 24 November 2017; Nelson Mandela University, Port Elizabeth.

  • 3 CPD ECSA credits, 1.8 AEE credits for renewal,
  • 1 CPD ECSA credit to taking the examination

Dr Sean Poole from Nelson Mandela University is the trainer of the Certified Renewable Energy Professional (REP) qualification of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).

The REP training explores the various forms of low-carbon energy sources, as well as the environmental impacts of alternative energy. Acquire the skills and theory to be able to provide credible and sustainable solutions in the renewable and alternative energy sector.
