Since relaunching in South Africa in 2014, Stanley Black & Decker has grown from strength to strength and is now ready to take on the digital world in a major way. The “One Tool Company” (OTC), which offers a comprehensive range of power tools, hand tools, accessories and storage solutions, has partnered with PriceCheck, Africa’s largest online product and financial services platform to offer great value, competitively priced deals on all Stanley Black & Decker goods.

The Stanley Black & Decker brand encompasses tools across Black+Decker (for the home), Stanley (for tradesmen) and Dewalt (for industry). Said Fiona Thorpe, e-Commerce Manager at Stanley Black & Decker, “By promoting and selling our products via PriceCheck, Stanley Black & Decker now has access to two-million digitally savvy customers who are on the lookout for great brands, at the best prices. We aim to be top of mind for these customers.”

The partnership marks the start of a major e-commerce drive for Stanley Black & Decker in the next year. “Stanley Black & Decker is becoming more digital savvy and will be driving e-commerce in a big way in 2018,” says Thorpe. The move bolsters Stanley Black & Decker’s already strong portfolio in the tooling space in South Africa by becoming easily accessible to consumers who prefer to use digital channels for shopping.
