As part of the traditional Hannover Messe opening tour, on March 31, 2025, acting Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz visited the stand of Beckhoff Automation. A global leader in industrial automation and control, the company is headquartered in Verl, Germany.

Beckhoff has introduced four new vision units to its VUI2000 series. The Vision Unit Illuminated (VUI) is a compact unit comprising the camera, illumination, and focusable optics complete with liquid lens technology. It reduces installation and commissioning effort significantly.

Minebea Intec, a leading global manufacturer of weighing and inspection technologies, developed ProRecipe XTR as a formulation software solution particularly for companies in the pharmaceutical industry. The solution combines scales and software into a powerful unit to map manual dosing processes and fulfils the requirements for precision and process reliability, plus regulations in terms of GxP (good practice guidelines for quality), for example. This benefits production companies with demanding recipes, as well as system integrators that want to expand their portfolio with an effective recipe management system.

Pursuing an aggressive growth strategy in South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa over the past decade has seen Fuchs Lubricants South Africa achieve a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6% in sales volume since 2015. “This means sales volume has nearly doubled in this time,” said Paul Deppe, Managing director of the company and Regional Vice President for Sub-Saharan Africa.
